Ensure you have the latest AimBetter Agent installed. If not, update the AimBetter Agent.
Failures in performing actions through AimBetter can happen for the following reasons:
1- User Permission
Check that the user running the AimBetter Agent service has Administrator credentials (see here how to check if the user has Administrator credentials).
2- Action Done
The requested action may have already been taken before the user requested it through the AimBetter platform. Check if what you want is done.
3- Firewall Blocking
Make the following checks:
- Check the Firewall Settings
- Check that the AimBetter Agent service is running in “Automatic” mode with the correct user. Click here for more details about the AimBetter Agent Service Settings.
- Check that these additional services are also running in “Automatic” mode: Windows Management Instrumentation, WMI Performance Adapter, and Performance Logs & Alerts. – click here for more details about Additional Services Settings
4- AimBetter folder logs
If all the previous checks and procedures didn’t solve this issue, follow the instructions to send the AimBetter folder logs to our support team.
